World premiere: Concept car Mazda Shinari
Mazda presents exclusively on Los Angeles to car Show in November, 2010 his new concept car with the Far Eastern sounding name Shinari.
The 4-seater saloon in the sporty garment appears as the first model of the brand in the new Mazda-Designsprache „Kodo – soul of inflexion“. Under the direction of the new Mazda-chief designer Ikuo Maeda was developed the present styling “Nagare”, too in German river or fluent movement, future-oriented.
The remarkable wheel arches are an advancement of the routeing known by the RX8. In the interior the free-floating display catches the eye immediately in three-dimensional optics. High-quality materials like leather or aluminium underline the premium character of the sports saloon.
The name “shinari” comes from the Japanese and symbolises the immense strength behind the nevertheless smoothly working appearance. An energy which allows to bend high-strength objects like steel or bamboo. Besides, describes “shinari” people and animals who appear with your adaptable body to a quick movement.
Beside this concept car the new Mazda 5 will also celebrate his US image. In Europe this model is already available since October with the trader.
